Asparagus Masterclass
We grow on average 4 tonnes each year on our estate. Originally planted by the late Walter Edgecombe over 20 years ago, we've been preparing it in our café for over a decade. The asparagus masterclass runs from the 4th September to the 5th November 2018.

Itinerary
- Monday - Friday (Excluding public holidays) or first weekend each month
- 10:30 for 11am Start - Welcome morning tea with ANZAC biscuits;
- 11am - Walk (5min) to our closest asparagus patch where we discuss aspects of asparagus growing plus harvest asparagus for lunch. Wear appropriate clothing depending on the weather;
- 12pm - Return to the café with the asparagus pick. An entrée dipping plate and tutored wine tasting will commence as we prepare the picked asparagus for lunch;
- 1pm - Coffee/tea with Edgecombe Estate grown chocolate coated figs;
- 1:30pm - 2pm: Close of class.
