More than just a winery, Edgecombe Brothers Winery Restaurant expemplifies the spirit of the Swan Valley. Nestled in a prominent position at the western entrance of the historic WA wine region, this family owned and operated business does things the old fashioned way, carving itself a reputation as a local icon.

The Edgecombe Brothers family continues to grow and sell only the best fresh produce and the finest table wines, served with warm hospitality at their rustic cellar door and cafe restaurant in the historic wine region of the Swan Valley in Western Australia. The fifty acre Swan Valley property was purchased in 1925 by two brothers who immigrated to Western Australia from Worthing in the UK. Don and Frank Edgecombe developed the property over the years, focusing in the 1930s and 40s on mainly table grapes for export. By the mid 1960s their efforts shifted to both table and wine grapes for the local market and continues today. The founding brothers’ values of freshness and friendliness have been carried through by the generations that run the business today as they continue to grow and pick their own produce, including table grapes, olives, pumpkins, citrus and asparagus.

Our Team

Although we are a family owned and family run business, we also acknowledge the wonderful people who help us on a daily basis in keeping the cogs ticking over.

We have a fantastic team in the kitchen pumping out fresh, delicious food for the cafe restaurant, and backing them up are our terrific kitchen-support staff. On the floor we have a friendly bunch of service staff ready and willing to make your visit with us a memorable experience. They are ably managed by a couple of floor managers, most notably the popular and funny Aki. The cellar door is manned by a couple of winelovers, including Alfred Edgecombe, who just want to talk wine and anything else. Join them for a wine tasting, as our team is always happy to see you!
